Nashville Meets London to Offer 100 Tennessee Fields Ticket-holders Free Entry into Nashville Meets London Each Day
Show Proof of Purchase and Claim NML Festival Ticket Here
(Nashville, Tennessee – July 15, 2022) Due to the recent cancellation of the Tennessee Fields music festival, Nashville Meets London (NML) organizers have announced they will offer free entry into the NML Music Festival to 100 Tennessee Fields ticket-holders daily.
NML Co-Founder, Peter Conway, shared, “There is a lot of talk about our country music community being a family. And as promoters, we are very saddened to learn about the demise of our great friend Georgie’s ‘Tennessee Fields (TF)’ festival. We know the time, money, and energy Georgie has expended over the last few years in putting the festival on – thus a sad loss to the Country festival calendar. 2022 is proving to be a tough year for all promoters. Thus, the NML team will be delighted to host a limited number of Tennessee Fields ticket holders (100 per night) free of charge to either one of our two-day festival (24/25 August) on a first-come basis.”
Interested parties can claim their NML ticket by submitting their name, point of contact, and proof of purchase (to Tennessee Fields) here.
The NML Music Festival will be held on August 24 and 25, 2022, in a new location, Trinity Buoy Wharf, East London. This year’s dynamic lineup includes Priscilla Block, Shy Carter, The Wandering Hearts, Candi Carpenter, Ruthie Collins, Manny Blu, Kyle Daniel, Sarah Darling, Essex County, Matt Hodges, Arbor North, and Tebey.
The new site is a stunning and cool new riverside venue opposite the O2 with an indoor stage and an outdoor seated area with food stalls and cashless bars. The festival will feature performances by 12 artists, with six sets scheduled for each day. Performances will be held between 4-11 p.m. on both days. DJ Hish will perform in between sets, while Absolute Radio Country host, Matt Spracklen, will compère the event.
Event attendees can travel to the festival site, Trinity Buoy Wharf, by catching the Jubilee Line or DLR to Canning Town station, then taking a 10-minute walk to the venue. Other options include taking an Uber Boat by Thames Clippers from Central London to a drop-off location that has been arranged with Trinity Buoy Wharf Pier; taking the DLR to East India station, followed by a 10-minute walk, Number 277 bus, alighting at the Town Hall on the north side of East India (DLR) station; or the D3 bus to Orchard Place. Parking on site is not available. Anyone interested in using Uber Boat by Thames Clipper for transport to the venue will be required to purchase their ticket in advance here. The stop will be between Greenwich and North Greenwich Piers.
Unlike past years when the two-day music event was held on Saturday and Sunday, NML 22 will be held during the evenings on Wednesday and Thursday night due to the venue’s availability and the promoter’s effort to not interfere with other surrounding events.
On August 19, NML will host the NML Country Music River Cruise just days before the festival, with support from PizzaExpress Live! The NML River Cruise will feature acoustic performances by Kyle Daniel and Vicki Manser, a set by DJ Hish, and hosting by Absolute Radio Country presenter Matt Spracklen. Tickets for the NML River Cruise and the NML Music Festival are extremely limied and available for purchase through the Pizza Express Box Office at www.PizzaExpressLive.com/nml-festival. This year’s festival event will have a limited capacity; therefore, anyone that wants to attend is encouraged to buy tickets early. Tickets for the festival are £34 per person (including booking fee) for each day. A limited number of VIP tickets that include entry to the festival, access to a private/VIP space with a private bar, entry to an artist meet and greet area, tickets to other NML events, and more, are also available.
